Hummingbird.

This was a very special assignment for me.
I was commissioned to make this pendant by a gentleman who was terminally ill. He had it made for a friend of his. I did my very best to finish the pendant so he could still see it but unfortunately, this was not to be. Later, I received a card from the friend in question, in which she wrote how special this was to her. What I also remember very clearly, was how much attention to detail the gentleman had. There was one dot of red in the opal which he noticed immediately. "Don't put the hummingbird over the red dot, I'd like to keep seeing it."

An assignment I will never forget.
