"My Dear." (sold)

This is one of my masterpieces.  The one-of-a-kind piece is made of 18 karat yellow gold, diamond Top Wesselton VSI 0.31 ct., chocolate and champagne colour 0.165 ct., freshwater pearl, welo opal, tanzanite and sapphire. 

The origin of the idea for this piece happens to lead back to the same neighbour as where the idea for my masterpiece "Come Closer" came from. 

It started with a painting of my sister Esther. This painting of a little deer touched me and I asked how she came up with the idea. She told me that on the way back from the funeral of our neighbour Leidy, a grandmother to us, she saw a little deer. In the painting she made of it, she has reproduced the deer under a kind of glass globe where it appears to be lit by moonlight. 

The special image and the tranquillity it radiated stayed in my mind.
The idea resurfaced after finding the freshwater pearl.
